Marion Dusart a participé au championnat du monde slalom à Hyères l’Almanarre du 7 au 12 septembre dernier. Pour son premier mondial, elle termine 9è.
« Pour ma première participation à un championnat du monde, je termine 9ème au général. A la fois satisfaite et déçue, je savais que sur la semaine de course, seule la journée de jeudi serait la plus « ventée » et qu’il fallait tout donner ce jour-là. Avec un Eole capricieux oscillant entre 9 et 13 noeuds, seule 2 manches ont été validées. Malheureusement pour moi avec une finale perdante en 2ème position et une finale gagnante en 5ème position, dur de faire mieux! Cela m’a permis d’évaluer mon niveau sur un premier championnat du monde en espérant qu’au prochain le vent sera de la partie. Un grand bravo à Delphine Cousin qui remporte ce championnat, et, pour le Team Funboard, à William Alikiagalelei qui conserve son titre et à Jean le Bot, 3ème en junior. Maintenant, je me concentre sur la prochaine et dernière étape du championnat de France qui aura lieu fin octobre à Six-Fours. »
Marion Dusart participated in the World Championship slalom in Hyères Almanarre from 7 to 12 September. For its first world, she finished 9th.
« For my first participation in a World Championship, I finished 9th overall. In both satisfied and disappointed, I knew that the week of the race, only Thursday would be the more windy and that i had to do my best this day. The wind capricious, between 9 and 13 knots, only two races have been completed. Unfortunately for me with a second position in final loser and a 5th position in final winner, 9th overall! this event allowed me to assess my level of a first world championship. I hope that the next worldchampionship will be windy. Congratulations to Delphine Cousin who won this championship, and for the Team Funboard, William Alikiagalelei youth world champion and Jean Le Bot, 3th in junior. Now, I focus on the next and final stage of french championship in October in Six-Fours. »
